Foundation Phase
Early sessions establish fundamental concepts and basic operations. You become comfortable navigating interfaces, understanding common symbols and terminology, and performing essential tasks. This foundation supports everything built upon it, so we ensure genuine comfort before advancing.
During this phase, repetition is expected and encouraged. The same task performed multiple times creates muscle memory and confidence. We celebrate small victories—successfully sending an email, finding a saved photo, completing an online form—recognizing that these represent real capability.
Development Phase
With basics established, we expand into more complex capabilities. You learn to combine skills, troubleshoot simple problems independently, and adapt knowledge to new situations. Training becomes less about following specific steps and more about understanding principles that apply broadly.
This phase often brings moments of genuine excitement as technology transforms from obstacle to tool. You discover capabilities that solve real problems in your life, whether staying connected with distant family, managing health information, or pursuing hobbies through online resources.
Mastery Phase
True mastery means using technology without conscious thought about the mechanics. You navigate digital spaces naturally, solve problems independently, and continue learning new capabilities on your own. Our role shifts from instructor to consultant, available when questions arise but no longer essential for daily use.
This independence doesn't mean isolation. We remain accessible for support, whether you encounter new challenges, want to explore advanced features, or simply need reassurance about a particular task. The relationship continues, but the dynamic has changed—you're now a capable user seeking occasional guidance, not a learner dependent on constant instruction.
